Tyler's fifth birthday

Tyler turned five today, March 13th, He had a transformer party with 10
of his little school friends.
I remember the day he was born and I saw the nurse cleaning him up. His eyes were so wide and he was looking every where as to say Welcome world here I am. He has been a delight to watch grow through the years.
He loves to come over and stay with me as much as he can. One day he asked: Grandma can I live here with you. I told him he would miss his mom,dad and sister Abby to which he replyed: I can visit them as much as I want too...
I think I spoil my Grandkids, Abby tells Mom and Dad to go home when they come
to pick her up too.... She wants to spend the night as much as Tyler does.
We are thankful to live close to them and can't believe Tyler is 5.......

Patrick
This is my oldest grandson/nephew Patrick
whom I finally got pics from his Mom
(Thanks Dawn) I miss him dearly.
He has the curliest blonde hair and
beautiful big blue eyes. He lives in
Maryland on a big farm with lots of animals
that my dear sweet daughter/niece and her hubby have.
I have so much fun when I visit them. I wish
all my family could live close by.
They love to go fishing and hunting. Boy
would they love it here.
Banana Bread

Here is a easy quick recipe that is really good.
Heat oven to 350 degrees
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1 1/4 cup sugar
2-3 ripe bananas
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons yogurt,buttermilk,cream or mayonnaise
(I used vanilla yogurt)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Optional: 1/2cup walnuts,crushed
I like it plain though.
Cream together butter and sugar. Mash the bananas and add to butter mixture
Beat in eggs. In seperate bowl mix together flour, baking soda and salt
Add to butter mixture. Add yogurt, cream, buttermilk or mayonnaise and vanilla
Add nuts if desired. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
