B I N G O

I LOVE BINGO

Yesterday I went with a dear sweet lady named June, to the senior's bingo at the senior center. I met her there for lunch and played bingo with her afterwards.
As my mother knows since I played with her all the time in Maryland. I Love Bingo...........

We had a fun time and the prizes were groceries, papertowels, toilet paper,
six packs of lemonade,etc....

A lot different then the prizes in Maryland (huh Mom)
We had fun and June won a few times. I ended up with a roll of
paper towels as the booby prize.
Those little old ladies are fun to be with. They made me laugh alot.
They said I could come again and play any time with them (probably because I didn't win) Any way June is such a sweet friend to have. I hope I can be like her when I
get older I have never seen such a spunky lady. She lives in Midway and plays in
my handbell choir. I also play bunco with her. She has a farm and a lot of chickens
which she gives me lots of eggs. I love you June..........

When we lived in Cortex, Colorado, it was right near the reservation where there was a casino. We went a few times and ate at their delicious buffet and we would peak into the other rooms. There was one HUGE room that was the bingo room. It was always full of Navajo ladies with at least 10 cards a piece just stamping away as soon as a number was read. I will never forget that and thatis what I think of when I hear BINGO. There is no way I could have ever kept up with those ladies and their 10 cards. Maybe I will come and play with you too!

I am so impressed how involved in our community you are. Bingo is so fun. If I was there we would be giggling the whole time about absolutely nothing:)
